About Me

I’m a freelance writer living and working in Kansas City, Missouri and mom to two curious kids. After raising more than $9 million in funding for nonprofits from coast to coast, I’m drawing on my experience researching and writing successful grant proposals to the Environmental Protection Agency, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, U.S. Department of Labor, New York State Council on the Arts, and leading private foundations to write nonfiction books for children.
